Leaving Stuff on the Table

About seven years ago, I left a partnership where there was money on the table – lots of it. My instincts and heart told me to exit. I did. One partner was manipulative and super greedy. I knew nothing good could come of it.

Fascinating, I honored my instincts. Other opportunities came in that replaced the money. I am at peace.

Then the crab cake is served. Due to the super greediness and their horrible business decisions there is now a deficit and debts to pay.

I am contacted that I need to make the deficit good. Of course, I went in to a spin. What? Are you ca-raa-zy? Huh? I put the brakes on the spinning and took my power back. I got expert counsel. I am done.

Crap cake learning two; you are right to ALWAYS listen to your gut even if it means leaving money on the table. Your good intentions cannot overcome evil. Run.
